Used my phone to take a picture of the sky from my side yard

Cold front moved on and skies cleared. Phone camera tech is stunning

The camera tech on even the older iPhone 12 is amazing

It’s 10 pm, bright moon, and the phone can detect colours of maple tree and the pink colour in my viburnum

(I’m sitting here in the moonlight under a blanket and watching wildlife walk by but have to use binos to see into shadows)

After a weekend of being less than active I finally got out on my fat bike

Glorious day on the trails and feeding the birds. 33 km of riding and enjoying crisp temps

I picked this book up last week. I’ve a few spiders I see in my house so I figured I may as well learn their names. Maybe they’ll help with the rent? 🙂

I received a last minute notice that the local astronomy club was showing the comet to folks at the waterfront

I went down and it was clear enough even my phone was able to capture a pic

Very nice!

I just posted my chicken-in-the -woods pic two minutes ago and now the algo is giving me fungi (not a complaint at all) :)

Some fall colours from my current wandering grounds

I used to get depressed in the fall (it meant return to high school)

Then it became my favourite season (return to university friends AND the colours)
