I would literally be remiss if I didn’t talk about the game that consumed the last year of my life, Baldur’s Gate 3 😩 god, I love D&D and TTRPG gaming, and this game’s story and romance options had me HOOKED. I didn’t stand a chance. 🙂‍↔️💖

It’s Hamtaro time!!! Ham-Ham Heartbreak is another childhood game that I absolutely love. I’ve even gone back to complete it twice as an adult! It’s a game about repairing romantic, platonic, and familial relationships - but honestly, the villain named Spat steals the show with his silly antics!!

& this is different from any other main franchise game because it actually has one linear story that you have to complete quests for to move forward. It also has a similar but still separate Game Boy Advance version that’s just as good but has a totally different story! HIGHLY recommend both games 🌷

Next one is a classic: The Sims 2!! It’s THE game that made me fall in love with whimsy and wackiness in video games. The Sims 2 has a phenomenal story, there’s lore to be found everywhere (even in ppl’s memories 👀) and imo has the best gameplay of all The Sims’ games. You can also still play it!!

Next up is a game I haven’t finished yet but is already one of my favorites: Little Goody Two Shoes!! It’s an indie horror game but also a lesbian dating sim??? (Period. 💅✨)

Another classic is Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball!! I played this when I was way too youn to see it as anything other than a game where you go shopping, play volleyball, and make friends, so it holds a special place in my heart. 💖 I’ve played this on stream before and it holds up!!

Next up is Mass Effect 2!!! Seriously one of my favorites of all time, like in my top 10. It’s the best of the series imo. The companions are incredible, the romances are so *chef’s kiss*, the STORY - and the plot twists!!!! Omfg. And also the best villain of the series imo too. Def check it out!!
