The clear answer here is Thenardier. Or maybe the sewer rats.
Donald is such an incredibly stupid person. He can no better remember the characters in Les Misérables than he can recite a line from the Bible or Constitution.

Can confirm from years of working in senior housing assisting with benefits that non-citizens aren’t eligible for Medicaid and would be automatically rejected. The gall of these GOP assholes making shit up and so few people willing to call out their lies.
AOC: The math is not adding up. Their claim is that one million undocumented people are on Medicaid. So why are they trying to cut 13.7 million Americans off their healthcare?

5 things I did this week:
-shopped only at local or DEI-supporting stores
-finally started “The 1619 Project”
-donated to Trans Lifeline
-booked a trip to Canada
-carried myself with the confidence of a cataclysmically stupid white man

A friend shared this about the need to lean into joy in this dark time, which might sound counterintuitive and absurd but I keep thinking about it and now I'm sharing it here so I guess it resonates.

Yesterday I doom-spiraled my way into a panic attack. Today I remembered to breathe, ate a vegetable, crushed my workout, walked the dog and read a book. I think this despair and self-care yo-yoing will be the new norm. I refuse to let those fuckers steal my joy. Take care of yourselves, friends.

‼️ Call Costco Corporate and tell them you support them going against the new administration. The receptionist is taking a tally and sharing with the CEO. You don’t need to be a member. She said they appreciate the support and have been getting a lot of negativity 425-313-8100 hit 0

Today’s affirmation in the face of fascism was to donate to Trans Lifeline and the Trevor Project. Thank you to all the people on the front lines fighting for all of our vulnerable communities.

Anybody who actually knows gender nonconforming kids could tell you that they are some of the most courageous people in the world.

Let’s hope the rest of us can rise to their standard.

Feeling overwhelmed by the ceaseless cascade of fascist maliciousness but I was able to speak to real humans at the offices of Sen. Slotkin and Rep. Stevens (with a voice mail to Sen. Peters) to add my voice to the emergency call to act now. It’s past time to add these calls to my daily to do list.

Now might be a good time to review Matthew 25:31-46 in case you need to cite Jesus’ teachings to the Republican Jesus crowd. No room for hypocrisy in heaven.

Two things that are true: today is the start of what will be a dark, scary time BUT life goes on, and it is vital to hold onto joy. The sunrise today was still beautiful even on a horrible day. Hold tight to what helps you find peace. Lean on other people. Don’t let the ugliness win.
