It appears, actually, that they were not denied. They faced a whole lot of issues (including the destruction of their original applications during bombing in Rotterdam in 1940) which resulted in their going into hiding before getting approved.

It was so good! I do love collard greens (I lived in DC for some years), and mac and cheese (boxed) is a staple even in its gf form. So it was fun to make them both myself from scratch, and I have 3 meals out of it for the next several days.

This came out of conversations I had with my African American clients who talked about their "usuals" on the Tday table. Everyone of them included greens and macaroni, and at least one other meat than turkey (most often ham). Greens and macaroni and cheese are not usual in white households in the

There is a documentary called Worse Than War that covers the way in which people are persuaded to become weapons against others. It is all horrific.

I wouldn't be mad. But I have ADHD and understand that going away doesn't mean you have completely forgotten what your relationships mean to you. Or at least, that's how I experience it. So I don't get too mad when others do the same.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. There is a full month before Xmas, so just go and be with family. It will all work itself out.
