SCIENCE SAVES LIVES.

Overall pediatric cancer survival rate increased from 63% in mid 1970s to 87%‼️between 2015 & 2021.

And this isn’t due to supplements, eating better or avoiding red food dye.

It’s due to science & industry working together to develop & approve therapies!

Of babies infected w/Hepatitis B, 90% develop chronic infection.

Of those, 1 in 4 will DIE.

They lose the ability to get rid of toxins & make important proteins. Their skin yellows, their abdomen swells, they’re uncomfortable. A fate no one deserves.

One we can avoid w/ vaccination.

There aren’t many things worse one can imagine than the loss of a child.

But the loss of a child to a vaccine preventable disease is a pain no parent or family should ever have to bear.

Sowing distrust about vaccines, arguably the greatest public health success of all time, is pure evil.

Through his life and extraordinary talent, the immigrant and refugee child Tomáš Sträussler who became known to us all as Tom Stoppard made British theatre and this country a better place to be.

You might even argue that he helped redefine Englishness through his astonishing legacy of work.

Tim Davie was one of the best D-Gs the BBC has had, and Deborah Turness was a brilliant head of news. Only the BBC’s enemies could possibly be glad they’ve resigned. We’ve now got a real fight on our hands to defend public service broadcasting, because that’s under threat too.

Perhaps an unsurprising finding but worth mentioning nonetheless: if you exclusively look up and watch tradwife content on TikTok, it will persistently keep serving you pro-anorexia content despite that not having once been something you searched for or even watched.

With SNAP benefits going to shit because of rich assholes and corruption running rampant through politics I'd like to point your attention to a Clinton.

No, not one of those Clintons. This Clinton. Clifford Clinton.

Given the party's refusal to act on Pochin's brazen racism, it should be as socially unacceptable to vote for Reform as it was in the early 2000s to vote for the BNP.

And we should be prepared to say this to people's faces.

Mosley, Powell - and now Farage - ride on the crest of an inflammatory wave but eventually finish up in the dustbin of British history, in retrospect remembered as sad and despised politicians who tried to build political careers on the back of hate.

It was a no-show from Farage at the 80th anniversary VJ Day memorial in Clacton, judging by the pictures. Not like him to miss a photo op! Led by the Royal British Legion with support from the council, the service was attended by a 100yr old veteran named Jim Goss - our MP couldn't be bothered.
