@louiestowell.bsky.social We are now doing this thing where the first part of every car journey my son reads me a chapter of Loki, while I’m driving. Might need to rethink as I laughed so much at Loki describing crisps that I nearly drove into a roundabout.

Especially point 3. as a kid growing up with undiagnosed ADHD I found comics so much easier to read. I grew up on my brothers @2000ad.bsky.social comics and my other brothers JLA and Excalibur comics. and it was the best :)

The plot is a perfectly paced spiral of chaos and hilarity, so deftly spun that when the penny drops you can only wonder at how beautifully you've been played. The stakes are very real, because of all the gentle character growth Louie has nurtured in her characters through the series. 2/4
