It’s lovely there when the mountain is out. But it also makes me laugh because I’m used to living next to the entire Chugach Range.

Any news on this for #Alaska? Will there be protests in Anchorage and Fairbanks as well as Juneau (seeing that it’s not feasible for many to travel to the state capitol)?

Seamus has gotten used to watching bird videos on YT, but I guess he’s become a general TV watcher as well. GBBO Christmas eps, at least.

My latest needlework project is one started many years ago and not touched in probably 25 of those. I’m in a finishing mood. We’ll see if I can make it to the end before spring.

Being laid up with my foot has introduced me to some lovely, positive things.
I started putting on YouTube videos for my cats in the mornings. We all like watching the birds and critters, and it brings some measure of peace and appreciation.
Seamus now rushes downstairs and waits for them.

I made a thing! I picked it up in Scotland, and started it during recovery from my foot surgery.
Now I need another project. Thankfully, I have lots of unfinished needlework projects from years gone by.

Oh, thank you! I’ve made it through day 19. Stitches are out, now in a boot, still no weight-bearing for 3 more wks. Inconvenient and tiring, but getting better every day. All the tips and advice were gold! I esp. appreciate the toilet grab bars.

I have a pair of sandhill cranes who hang out in my front yard sometimes. Big birds, probably up to my waist. And loud! Wow, are they loud! But also very cool.
