A fallacy is a trap that can be used in ignorance, or with intent.
Being wrong has its own fallacies, as it often relies on values which are prone to contention. It has a logical and normative meaning, but is used opaquely.

Anyway, just wanted to say i think i understand your predicament. Console myself it also generated ideas like emancipation, liberty & quest for truth. And we may rebel, like we always did.

I see a lot of heated opposition, and some carefully exploring possible uses. My guts tell me it will be hard to put the jinn back in the bottle.
A possible approach would be to make a law requiring all AI generated content to have an embedded fingerprint as AI generated.

It's spectable. Deployed guards at 1500, ICE 25k, DHS 270k. The fiscal situation on the other hand is real. 125% debt to GDP, 6.5% deficit.

Easiest way to lose people for a cause is telling them their motivations don't matter. From my POV, that is a large part what got us into this Trump thing.

I doubt the veracity of that statement. Let's take the non voters. Why on earth would they not give a damn as you put it? Why wouldn't they care? Inconvenient truth is that climate is not the only affect which moves people.

I'm not certain this is the case, but the arguments comes up frequently if you listen to tipping point presentations. Arctic amplification & boreal fires can enhance the melt. Same for ocean warming on the shelves.
