Transcript Panel 1 August has just finished downloading a game that he's been looking forward to playing. Unfortunately, he also has to get to work so he doesn't have time to playing it right now. On his computer screen is the notice that the download is complete and an option to tip "15%", "30%", or "50%". August (thinking): I've been waiting for this game forever. I'll play it after work. Panel 2 It's later in the evening and August is making dinner. He's putting some onions in a pot and thinking about his new game. As much as he'd like to be playing right now, they got to eat and he promised his son one of his favorite dinners. August (thinking): I'll play it after dinner. Gustopher: TACO SOUP! TACO SOUP! Panel 3 Dinner is done but August is exhausted. He goes to bed and his two cats have quickly settled in for sleep. August thinks about his game but he just doesn't have the energy for it. August (thinking): Too tired... I'll play it later. Panel 4 August is woken up by his to cats touching his face and meowing for food. He'd like to play his new game, but there's things that have to be done and he has to get to work. August: I'll play it after work... Eventually. Nougat: Maw (possibly meaning "Excuse me good sir, but I find myself in a most peckish state and it be pleasing if you could find it fit to fill my dining bowl with your most delicious of food morsels. I apologize for waking you in this most undignified manner but it is imperative that I dine soon I fear that I might perish from this foul hunger.") Mewbert: Mew (possibly meaning "FEED ME! NOW!")

I felt this last night. 3 houses had hot dogs and coffee/hot cocoa. One house was handing out ramen/crackers/easy Mac type things and encouraging folks to take what they needed.

I don't know if this is because of small town or what but everyone was so friendly & honestly seemed happy to see people.

I feel like I say this every year but I really need people to hear it. Halloween is the best American holiday. Just kids outside welcomed into their world, marching around together, showing off their costumes to the elderly, parents meeting parents, neighbors catching up with neighbors.

I know some folks hate black Aida to stitch on, but I love how it makes things pop.

With SNAP/EBT cuts looming I highly recommend downloading this app! Basically restaurants and other food businesses will have available bags of random food they don’t wanna waste for ppl to buy for hella cheap! This has saved me sooooo many times when I only have $5 and need some food.

While I enjoy GMing and playing in the recording game I'm in, I do miss in person games. I loved the food, friends, and fun.

I also miss online home games where i can really just get into a character and see their journey through.

Dumbo octopuses (genus Grimpoteuthis) are a genus of cirrate octopuses that look like gelatinous blobs or cartoon ghosts.

But their most iconic feature are their large fins that look like big elephant ears, hence their common name.

A dumbo octopus (Grimpoteuthis sp.) on the sea floor. It is a purplish, lavender blob. Its are on the ground, all pointing towards the left, with some being curled to that direction. It has big black eyes. It has large fins that are flapping, and the fins resemble ears. It has black beady eyes. A dumbo octopus (Grimpoteuthis sp.) uses his ear-like fins to slowly swim away. Its arms are in a coiled posture. A dumbo octopus (Grimpoteuthis sp.) sitting on the sea floor in squashed posture. Its arms are held together, and it just looks like an orange to pink gelatinous blob. It has black beady eyes and two large fins on either side that are drooping down and look like ears.
