hello from mexico! earlier this week:

the two tall ones on the right rear are salmon baby nasturtiums 🌺

For the brevity -- complete inversion of meaning in just sixteen words, ending in a gut punch.

Came home to a puppy six pounds larger 😱 than when we left, and just as rambunctious. We are trying everything to curb his biting and so far ... not succeeding.

Please tell me this is only a phase. 😫

It really is difficult to get an unblurred shot of a constantly moving puppy, but about one time in a hundred, I manage:

I won't be posting or even reading much for a while, because accidental new puppy has taken over my life. But if you want puppy photos, I can provide.

Right now our big struggles are 1) peeing *outside* the house and 2) not using the 20-year-old grandpa cat as a chew toy.
