I wish the commercial had been more explicit and just stated to the military that firing on, or arresting protesters is an illegal order. The concern is that once trump messes with the 2026 elections, and millions take to the street, that he will call on the military to suppress dissent.

I have given a fair amount of money to Democrat candidates, but from now on only Bernie and AOC and their fellow travelers are getting my contributions. We need fighters not capitulators!

It harms everyone if you realize the reality that these fascists are not holding any free elections next year. The only way to get them out is to get massive numbers of people to take to the streets. A shutdown of everything would have done that by December! Opportunities are running out..

If they had just waited for everything to shutdown people would have gotten pissed enough to take to the streets and demand change. This is what it will take to get him out. We saw on January 6th that he has no respect for elections!

So in the 2026 elections do you really think Americans are going to view those Democratic Senators as “responsible adults” who ended the shutdown? I think they will more likely be viewed as “pathetic wimps” who caved. The Fascists definitely will not respect this weakness!

Sen. Sanders you are so correct as usual! These Democrats don’t seem to know who they are dealing with. Fascists don’t respect compromise or weakness. These guys just proved to Trump that they are “worms”, as Hitler said at Munich 1938.

True, but thanks to our rebellion the English parliament was able to get their king under control. Had they listened to Edmund Burke and given representatives to the colonies the whole thing could have been avoided.

That makes too much sense so Johnson won’t do it. But by November 21st the appropriation bill expires and he will have to call Congress back. He wants to avoid releasing the Epstein files because he knows Trump will be revealed as the molesting pervert that smart people already know
