RIP to the great Udo Kier. In the early 90s, Udo hired me to edit his showreel. He was funny, generous and kind. Told many stories about his films with Paul Morrissey and Warhol. Showed me all the pages of Madonna's sex book he was in. There's nobody like him.

I realize that I don’t have that many followers but you should all see “One Battle After Another” soon. Can’t stop thinking about it and can’t wait to watch it again. It’s the kind of film that reminds me why I love films. 5 stars.

I would encourage everyone to see this perfect film on the big screen. Especially with this new gorgeous transfer.

For animation nerds, this is a great conversation with two friends (Mike Mitchell & Mike Cachuelo) who have been working on some of the biggest films of the past 30 years. youtu.be/HK06c8J_lqA?...

A friend of mine worked on a reality show called "Chained to ODB", where a contestant had to be chained/handcuffed to Old Dirty Bastard for a day to win cash. It never aired. I can't for the life of me think of a world that doesn't want to see this.

My favorite Hackman performance is probably "the Conversation" but I have a huge soft spot for that 90's western sheriff you loved to hate. #TheUnforgiven #TheQuickandtheDead

#RIP to master director David Lynch. Was lucky enough to meet/ sit across from him at a lunch in the early 90's. He talked about Bob's Big Boy and dog shows and I didn't say a word. Just took everything in. Thankful to re-visit all of his work very recently thanks to @blankcheck.bsky.social

Finally caught RaMell Ross' lyrical slow burn "Nickel Boys". Might be my favorite of the year (2024). The end hits so hard.

My dudes, turn this shit off. On iOS it's under Settings > Apps > Photos > scroll all the way down.
Apple has opted iOS and MacOS users into an AI photo scanning feature which tries to extract landmarks from your photos called Enhanced Visual Search by default with little notice.

RIP. In the 90s my grandmother met Paul and his wife Sally on a flight. She told him that I made films. Paul gave her his number and was kind enough to talk to a young film student from Oklahoma. Will always remember that. www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie...
