I added 9 birds to my life list after one visit to Baylands Park on my trip to Mountain View for #SciFoo, including American Avocets and black-necked Stilts. No good photos of them bc no SLR but here's some pelicans.

Just got my hotel reservation for #SciFoo at #GoogleX. Can't wait for July 18. By coincidence coincidence, it will also be my first day post NSF with no job on the horizon. Looking for research analytics job tips!

On a more positive note, the red-winged blackbirds are back at my favorite birding spot. I heard blue teals peeping and spotted a handsome Northern Pintail with some lovely lady friends.

The guy who plays golf during work hours, remote works, and outsourced his work to a tech bro claims: “Nobody is gonna work from home,” Trump said Monday. “They are gonna be going out, they’re gonna play tennis, they’re gonna play golf, they’re gonna do a lot of things. They’re not working.”
