This fall my 103 yr old mother spent 24 hrs in the hallway ( in an Okanagan hospital) after her stroke. It was frightening for her and demoralizing. In the two weeks she spent in hospital, those hallway beds were always occupied and often with seniors. There is zero privacy. This isn’t sustainable..
