Why do so many startups feel the need to create videos when they raise vc or do a new product launch? It's ridiculous. I don't believe it's helping your brand awareness in the ways you think. More often than not, the videos are ai slop cringe worthy.

Today was almost an epipen day. After coming home from routine allergy shots, I had a severe reaction (hives, rash, throat was getting questionable). Took the incorrect amount (too small a dosage) of anti-histamine. Fortunately I live within a 8 min walk to the allergist, but what a scary morning.

This GPT-5 launch is one of the cringiest I've watched in a while. There are too many presenters (apple, google, etc struggle with this) and none of them are great at public speaking. They look uncomfortable and it's hard to pay attention when it's this bad.

Pretty sure I got used by a company to figure out their hiring strategy. It sucks because it’s wasted hours and my time == money. Sigh.

In the last year alone I'd say the composition of my role as a design freelancer has shifted significantly due to the usage of AI tools. It's now a blend of 20-30%+ front-end, 60-70% design, and 10-20%+ product management. Pretty significant shift and consolidation of responsibilities. #designsky
