It's my birthday today💐

We just got home from being over 48 hours in a recording studio, so I'm definitely going to spend my day playing games and eating ramen

A Month in the Country by J.L. Carr

It took some time before I really got into this one, but I ended up liking it in the end. It's a nice, peaceful story and it's beautifully written. The fact that there's no chapters made it a little difficult for me to read tho.

The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien

I wasn't really a fan of the movies when they first came out, but now I think I need to give them a second chance because I LOVED reading the book. I got very influenced to read this when 3 people read this at the same time, and I'm so happy I picked it up.

Yumi and the Nightmare Painter by Brandon Sanderson

I struggled a bit in the first half of the book, but the second half really surprised me. I gave me Final Fantasy X vibes, which makes sense since Sanderson stated that it's his favorite game.

The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst

Loved this story. It was an amazing sequel to The Spellshop where you get to read about what happened to Terlu, the creator of Caz. The ending was really touching and it was overall just a good reading experience.

We made it to Denmark after an 8 hour long road trip🇩🇰
Ready for a whole week of relaxing by the ocean, reading in the cabin and drinking Danish beer.

Tress of the Emerald Sea by Brandon Sanderson

Loved it!!! This book was so good. A fantasy adventure story with pirates sailing on a sea of spores? What's not to love? I also loved how present the narrator was in the story and how the narrator themselves develops throughout the story.

The Wedding People by Alison Espach

I truly can't decide if I liked this book or not. It had a good story, the drama was messy and the characters even worse, but in a way that's intentional. The romance felt weird and a little inappropriate tho, which is my main issue with the story.

Return to the Dallergut Dream Department Store by Miye Lee

I want more!! I love these books so much. The only reason why I'm not giving this book 5 stars is because I think the chapters are too long, but other than that I loved this book.

Nana (the whole series) by Ai Yazawa.

I have been reading Nana for over a year now and just finished last night. This manga has ripped me to shreds, it made me reflect on my past, it made be feel hate and made me want to scream. Now that I'm done with this, my heart has a Nana shaped hole in it

When the Crow's Away by Auralee Wallace👻

The sequel to In the Company of Witches. I liked this book. The writing is good and the chapters are a good length. I still enjoy reading about the witch Brynn and her aunts and uncle at the B&B, and the mystery in this book was good.

Babel by R. F. Kuang

I could not put this book down! I brought it with me everywhere, even to my graduation ceremony and to the recording studio. This book was truly phenomenal. It was so well written, it felt like I lived the story. My hands were shaking as I was reading the last chapter.
