And the tortured have never been convicted of a crime, and the worst thing most if not all of them did was come to the US to make a better life for themselves, sometimes traveling by foot for hundreds or thousands of miles.

They're using the confinement box, one of the most horrific methods of CIA torture in the post-9/11 black sites, against migrants now. This is the direct result of the lack of consequences for the architects of the torture program. Either there will be criminal penalties for this or it will expand.

No she didn't. NHS FIFE harassed her, not Upton.

Every elderly member of my family has now sent me an “amazing” animal video that is actually AI generated. Some are tougher to decipher; others have plenty of clues (like “real life coyote chasing roadrunner” one). I’ve found some good “how to tell” videos. How else can I teach them to be more wary?

It’s cool how kc city council is set to have a meeting on whether we should create a special city district for data warehouses when we already have like 3-4 big ones already built (or on the way) with huge tax write offs and with increases in utility prices among some of the worse in the nation.
