Doing the last few touches on ‘Rainfall’ which is a sort of sequel to Piraña’s Maw. Feeling pretty god about it and it’ll most certainly be done by Halloween. Got a couple other shorts that I have in mind, but they won’t be about the same world as these two.

While I’ve taken a break from my Shield Hero AU, I’ve got two other minor projects I’ve been playing with. One is a Deltarune ‘Fell’ AU and the other is an original short story I want to publish somewhere. They are MUCH smaller in scope but I like the both of them.

Finally finished Arc 3 of my Shield Hero AU, and honestly, it’s becoming more and more of its own thing. The original plan was to go through and fix up some things I wasn’t happy with in the original anime. Then, I just kept getting ideas and I’m starting to wonder if I should lean more into it.

I think part of what makes writing a rewrite fanfic like what I’m doing so hard is that I want to do more and I overscope. Going back through when I’m editing, it feels so bad when I cut something out due to pacing issues or because it just feels unnecessary for the story looking back. Pg1
