Just realized I hadn't redeemed ANY of my Staples points for like... years I think? Well, guess who just restocked some mailers. I go through ones that hold 5x7 prints the fasted, so I grabbed the thicker box for multiple prints or prints mixed with pins, and the flat mailers for just 1-3 prints

It's fern week 🌿

My poor baby Cedar had a swollen upper lip so he's on anti inflammatory meds for a few days. The little freak actually loves it. I don't even have to hold him 😂

A note about the new PNW ferns stickers is that they have clear backing, so the white peels completely away to reveal only the fern itself.

Here's all six PNW fern watercolors I did for the sticker set. I'm really happy with how they all came out, and I think they make really cute little pieces!

The originals are painted all around 2.25 to 4.25 inches give or take a half inch. I have 3 of the originals left

Was already boycotting Target. Using Chatgpt is already unethical af, so maybe those who use it don't care about ethics and what these companies have done. But anyway I noticed four names: Walmart, Target, Shopify, Etsy. Not surprised about three of those, but Shopify too? Ugh
Like Walmart, Target’s new AI-driven shopping experience is framed as an effort to meet shoppers where they are, especially given the rising referral traffic from generative AI sources like ChatGPT to retailer websites. Meanwhile, OpenAI is making an aggressive push into e-commerce, striking similar partnerships with Shopify and Etsy.

November's lino cut print "Solitude" felt like a step up in my lino work. After doing around 36 of these I feel like I'm finally starting to get the hang of it lol
I mixed Pthalo green and platinum white to get a slightly lighter green and I love the results on the tan paper. :)

"Bowman Bay" sits on the North side of Deception Pass state park in Washington State. As I walked up the beach, a white heron stood in the waves before flying away. I loved the green of the water in this area.

Went out Pokemon hunting in the rain and found some of the first visitors of the migrations! I love seeing what ducks come through each year. It was dark and they weren't very close (only had my phone), but they were all still so fun to see.

Can you name them without looking at the captions?

Got the boys a treat puzzle! I put it on the hardest setting though and they figured it out just a little too fast 😅
Does anyone have any other good treat puzzle recs for cats?
cats Sitka and Cedar sniffing and figuring out a treat puzzle that looks like a leaf with ladybugs. The ladybug cups hide treats and slide around, the little leaves turn to uncover hidden compartments.

I painted 6 varieties of ferns for a new sticker set (to be revealed later!) and I decided I want them with clear borders instead of white. This means hours and hours of cleaning up edges and erasing the backgrounds 🙃
My back and shoulders are slightly regretting this design decision atm.
