Reading this out of context had me very worried. But then I read the article and I realized, hey, I am still worried. It wasn't difficult for me to stop being friends with people with horribly shitty beliefs. But look at it from his perspective, giving up this friendship would cost him money!

It is a bit of a relief to live in California. This country is horrifying. I knew that cons hated me, but I didn't realize exactly how much until I saw how rabidly they would start going after trans folks. I didn't think my opinion of Republicans could get any lower than 8 years ago, but here we are
