We need to build some real social stigma around being afraid of cities. You don't have to like them or live there, but a politics built this strongly around watching TV and going "ewww" is embarrassing, and people should be embarrassed by it. It's like "fear of werewolves" being your top issue.

Megachurches are a perfect distillation of everything wrong with modern American evangelical Christianity. They're an opportunity for people to assuage their consciences and identify themselves socially and politically as "Christians" without putting forth any effort--and all while being conned.
I have never understood "mega-churches". It seems geared towards undermining or corrupting any actual pastoral work.

In case you’re wondering, it’s barely fall & our children’s hospital is already almost always full with kids boarding in the ER.
And the pediatric workforce is stretched thin.
Our system does not have the capacity to care for the influx of vaccine preventable diseases that is coming.

Some day maybe social media will be viewed as the powerful agent of mass manipulation that it is and appropriately regulated, but right now it feels like we’re in a phase that will be looked back on the way we look at 19th century “medicines” that were mostly alcohol and cocaine.
