Today's arts & crafts was watercolour pencil once again. It came out a bit wonky but I had fun doing it!

Can you help us help a colleague identify this item?

All we know is that it's from the Conception Bay South area in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Any guesses?🤔

Some photos from my trip to South Korea! Bukchon Hanok Village, a pretty cherry blossom lined street, and Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul, as well as a view of Cheongpyeong Lake in Gapyeong county.

I will be posting a few photos from my recent trip to Japan and South Korea! I feel very lucky to have been able to go and experience such a lovely season. Below is a photo of the Moon pine tree in Ueno Park (Tokyo), Osaka Castle (Osaka), and Mount Fuji from the Shinkansen!

For today’s #MissusMonday we’re sharing a folk remedy for warts from Mrs. Mackey of St. Brendan’s.

What’s interesting about this remedy is that, usually, a dog eats the pork, but in this case, it’s a cat!

And as always, can you help us give Mrs. Mackey her first name?

For today’s #MissusMonday we’re sharing the belief that if you’re bad to your mother, your hand will stick out of the grave when you die.

This is likely a reference to the folktale, “The Willful Child”, collected by the Brothers Grimm.
