I don't have body dysphoria but I have been on hormones. I'm painfully not a woman or a man. I've been the dirty secret of countless men, both straight and gay, who don't want to publicly admit they are attracted to me. I've been left multiple times by people who eventually realized that no, I wasn't lying. I was neither a woman or a man, but both, neither, somewhere in between, or something else entirely. Just female. I've been disowned by family members, had awful stories told about me, and dealt with difficult beliefs and stereotypes. I've suffered serious abuse and trauma and had my back broken. Because of how I identify. I've spent nights crying, wishing I could be something else. Trying to fit myself into boxes I didn't belong in. I'm 34 and I have only been able to have my correct gender designation on my id for two years. Chances are, my birth certificate will never change. There's a lot of day to day gendered things that I miss out on. I watched a lot of friends fail to make it this far. But I don't hate myself. On the contrary, I think I'm pretty great. I am far from perfect but I like who I am, gender and all. I accept that I am happier and more at peace with myself when I don't pretend. So, do I like being transgender? Not particularly. Its a struggle because strangers seem to think that it's any of their business. That they get to mistreat me for it. And I'm left with the option to fight or turn the other cheek and get somewhere safe. I don't like that people fight all the time about what I should think, feel, or want. What I should wear, where I should pee. Mind ya damn business! But do I like being myself? Do I enjoy being loved and accepted the way I am? Yes, absolutely. I'm magical, loyal, loving, kind, a degenerate, intelligent, and a bit of a grump. Anyone should be so lucky to know the real me.

In a 2012 address to bishops, he lamented that Western news media and popular culture fostered “sympathy for beliefs and practices that are at odds with the gospel.” He cited the “homosexual lifestyle” and “alternative families comprised of same-sex partners and their adopted children.” Excerpt from NYT artlce: As bishop in Chiclayo, a city in northwestern Peru, he opposed a government plan to add teachings on gender in schools. “The promotion of gender ideology is confusing, because it seeks to create genders that don’t exist,” he told local news media. Excerpts from wikipedia: In 2000, Prevost allowed Father James Ray, an Augustinian priest, to reside at St. John Stone Friary in Chicago under a monitor, refraining from public ministry, after the first rectory proposed for his residence was rejected by the archdiocesan review board because it was on the same property as a parish school. Ray had been suspended from public ministry since 1991 due to credible accusations of sexual abuse of minors. Ray was moved to a different residence in 2002 when the US Conference of Catholic Bishops adopted stricter rules for handling priests accused of abusing minors. Watched a youtube video on the axiom of choice (by Veritasium) and found this comment extremely funny.
Ask your doctor if The Axiom of Choice is right for you. Side effects may include unmeasurable sets, self duplicating objects, getting publicly slammed by your favorite professor, and bouts of insanity. Do not use The Axiom of Choice if you get paid based on the length of your prof or if you live in a reality that does not contain The Axiom of Choice. If you experience any of these side effects while using The Axiom of Choice, stop writing math papers immediately and become a philosophy major.
