Some say it is illegal to arrest a sitting president. It is not. The president is subject to the law like everyone. That none have been arrested in the U.S. is only a policy internal to the DOJ based on the need for continuity of government operations--a policy that never imagined a criminal POTUS.

I thought this administration was all about obeying orders from higher ups. Here’s the distinction, Kristi: If a judge says turn the plane around, you turn the plane around.

Wow! We are shocked!
Are we in the upside down?
In today's what-timeline-are-we-in news, several Republicans broke ranks and signed a discharge petition that will force a House floor vote on a bill to restore collective bargaining rights for federal employees. This is a big deal. The cracks are showing.

The current GOP lie is that they’re going to replace Obamacare with something better.

Bullshit. In all of the majorities they’ve had since Obamacare passed, they’ve never once tried to replace it.

They’ve tried to repeal it a whole bunch, but never actually make it better.

It’s Election Day with critical races in several states. This is the first general election where voters get to tell Donald Trump what they think of him so far. Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard! Vote like your country depends on it. Because it does.

Biggest concern: Trump trying to start a war in Venezuela and ‘go in guns blazing’ to Nigeria.

Brightest light: judge telling Trump he can’t use SNAP benefits as a political cudgel.

This. Also:

1. Our nuclear modernization started under Obama.

2. The only significant nuclear expansion under Trump was the low-yield W76 mod 2 submarine launched ballistic missile.

3. Testing nukes is fucking stupid. We don’t need to do it.
None of this is correct. Good thing we have a steady hand on "nuclear"

I see that the United States' peculiar brand of Christian Nationalism includes judging the poor for needing SNAP benefits (judging is something Jesus said *not to* do) but not helping the poor with SNAP benefits (helping the poor is something Jesus told them *to* do).
