Currently figuring out my next steps in life, and how to turn my passion for science, justice, and education into a career.
To anyone who might see this, you can make a difference without being the president, or the mayor, or the governor. Use your knowledge and your passions and your PLATFORM to speak to people. We’ve been given the tool of the internet, and I think it is up to us (especially GenZ) to refine it.

There is a CLEAR issue in America right now, and I know I’m preaching to the choir on Bluesky. But I know I can leverage my background in science to make my difference.

(I also think anyone who desperately wants to be president deserves a healthy dose of skepticism but I digress)

Look, the reality of this situation is, we need professionals in every field to make content easy to understand and trust again. I think @hankgreen.bsky.social put it best. People need to understand these hard topics at every level because we cannot be the masters of everything.

I would be fine sharing a public bathroom with anyone as long as my stall had no gap between the door and the wall tbh

For so long, social media wasn’t meant to be a positive space. The media, the people, everyone saw social media as a place to interact that was harmful to us as people.
Bluesky not only challenges that but promotes a space of education and fun which is unheard of in modern media.

Of course, it is not the duty of anyone (except public officials and representatives) to maintain empathy towards people with opposing morals.
But the reason some people are so against a space like Bluesky as opposed to Truth Social or X is because of cognitive dissonance.

This is genuinely the purest way to teach your son valuable critical thinking skills! I vividly remember learning math via sticky note games at that age and being incredibly invested into the rules and exceptions!
I learned long division and multiple digit multiplication before I entered school!
