lastly they sorta had bosses and one or two of them were kinda like a D2 raid but they never hit the mark and also I think most bosses were in dream sequence drug haze cradle missions. can't wait too see player counts and what an all time peak looks like.

COOP CAMPAIGN
God. Actually, God. Sure, right? On paper it sounds nice! Most shooters have this nailed however Bo7 is ONLY coop campaign with squad auto fill as the default option if you don't have friends. Doing a no fill game will actually REMOVE the NPC BACKUP FILLER squad mates; forced True Solo

THE MAP genuinely the worst part alone. "The Bo7 campaign map" doesn't inspire joy at all. The whole map is just the warzone map and it doesn't even mean a thing because the campaign IS linear so the only difference is that you can fuck off and run somrwhere else when you're not in a dream sequence

the whole franchise has been really leaning into what I've thought is most boring part. THE DREAM SEQUENCES!!!
I think there's a level of silliness we accept like BO1&2 "the numbers Mason" but the forest shit from 3 or 4 was awful, the cradle missions? trashy. Bo7 combines both for the whole game.

we are talking questionable lore decisions at the max; Alex Mason WAS killed, Harper LIVED, Menendez was killed, and least of all the cradle wasn't taken to a watery grave..?
