Sounds like that would work. Describes what they are doing, but not in a grandiose way.

That is a fair point. Was thinking about the characters I'd like to see and not the marketing. Got to focus on both these days.

Wolverine isn't an active Avenger, just X-Man and solo currently. Black Widow also isn't currently an Avenger.
Idea bouncing around in my head was one or both being one heck of a distraction while the heroes treated as second stringers pull off the win for the team.

Like the idea of the team talking about how useful Black Widow and Wolverine are at providing a distraction for what they are doing because of how well known they are. Busy looking for the wrong boogie man coming after them and never see them coming.

And yeah, deliberately painting a wide brush and no specifics because I'd love to see someone write it, versus getting into details enough that they'd have to pass for obvious reasons.

Oh, you'd make a whole big event out of it, but would be interesting if you find out that there has been half a decade or more of this cleanup crew working in the background. Heck, maybe even some reformed villains in the mix.

Either one or both in charge, while you bring in characters with even less name recognition in the field.

Maybe Mockingbird has been running with other heroes with stealth capabilities to take out threats in their planning stages.
Black Knight and Jennifer Kale have been working with Devil Slayer and Hellcat to take out magical threats that would interfere with Strange saving the world.

Could mix into the same stories how these rarely seen heroes are taking out threats before their become Avengers or Sorcerer Supreme level issues with little to no fanfare. Maybe we find out that there are organized teams doing this we have not been made aware of.

It was common enough that it was actually surprising when two of my father's older aunts independently told him that, when we were staying with them, it was there house and their rules, so there would be none of that. To both uncles' credits, they backed their wives without hesitating.

If you were a child in the 1980s, it wasn't uncommon to see other parents beat their kid in public. Or leave somewhere public where it was very, very clear that was going to be what happened. Hard to describe how little other parents cared unless the beating was leaving obvious bruises on the kid.

Executions aren't a cheaper alternative either. The initial appeal process when someone is sentenced to deal alone costs more than it would to lock them up in maximum security for multiple lifetimes. Life without the possibility of parole isn't a kindness either.

Seems like a good time to make sure you aren't donating to any Democratic Senator until they clean up their leadership. Schumer and Durbin need to go. Be sure to let your Senators know why you are pulling donations and what it will take to get them back.

We don't talk enough about how the last Republican Healthcare Act was the HMO Act of 1973 that created the problem in the first place.

Time to push for withholding donations to Democrats until they change leadership.

The only Healthcare plan that Republicans have ever given us is Nixon's HMO Act of 1973 that created the healthcare problems we're all experiencing today. Not surprising that they can't come up with a new policy since they receive so many donations to keep the existing privatized profits model.

The best thing you could do for the Democratic Party is step aside and let another Democratic Senator who actually wants to fight for their country on behalf of their party hold the reins. The sooner you do this, the better for everyone involved.
