A random roadside stop by a bridge turned into one of my top spots of the trip--gorgeous blue-green rapids springing from a hidden vale.

Icy, teal-blue rapids rush away from the viewer out to the Bay of Kotor. Trees come right up to the water on either side, and a small island splits the flow of the water. Mountains cloaked in clouds sit moodily on the far horizon.

It's a FOUR FROG day, my friends! 🐸🐸🐸🐸
The rocky shore of a pond, with three frogs hanging out. The first is in the small leafed vibe next to the potted plant, all the way at left. Number two is on top of the stone wall in the middle, the third is in the water between the bigger round leaves, with just his face sticking out. He's the hardest to see in this shot. Paws has been helping me play video games this weekend
A big fluffy summer tabby lying with his full weight on my hand and most of my keyboard. He discovered many exciting keyboard shortcuts; apparently my computer has an emoji keyboard? This photo also shows how enormous his feet are. So many toes.

Paws, the silver tabby, has stuck his head into the car house to groom Cicada. Cicada's cute black head, or at least a portion of it, is now visible against Paws' side as he accepts the kisses

Only one of my kitties is black, but he's doubly excellent. This is Cicada:
Cicada down here having stolen my chair. He is curled up to perfectly align with the edge of the soft blanket hanging down from the back. Cicada snoozing in a car bed with all his feets piled up haphazardly in front of him. Cicada entranced by a bird during supervised patio time. The most alert loaf you've ever seen. Stretched out on the floor, reaching into a sunbeam. This photo actually shows his adorable, barely-there stub tail a little bit.

The fluffy silver tabby cat from up thread down here lying on a bed and holding paws with a black cat. The tabby is named Paws because, as you can see here, he has gigantic feet with extra toes, and he likes to reach out and grab things with them. Here's Paws lying on his back on a cat bed in a very dramatic pose, one paw reaching out towards the camera. He has a super soft toasted marshmallow belly, and the classic cat 3-shaped smile with little fangies barely sticking out.

The "best present ever" box is getting pretty beat up, in addition to being well out of season, so i have a new cardboard cat house on the way.
One last day of looking over and saying, "yes Paws, you ARE a gift" 💕

A good day for babies! Saw a cardinal feeding his teenager on my patio, and now a little bunny has decided to come out of the nest for some fresh air 💕
A baby bunny hiding under strawberry leaves. It has precious little ears and a tiny white blaze on its forehead. Its eyes are covered so probably no one can see it, isn't that how it works?

Frogs have the cutest "awkward teen phase" 🐸
A tiny bronze frog on a lily pad shaped leaf. It still has an obvious tail left from the tadpole stage. The frog and leaves are in beautiful dappled light, standing out against the dark water of the pond.

I assumed these were weeds, but let them grow in case they were nice weeds (and u spend all my weeding energy on redbuds and English ivy anyways).
Turns out it's the candytuft seeds i scattered!
