It would be good if this got even a fraction of the coverage devoted to the endless debate about boats, flags and Turkish barber shops

I watched Maher tell Kasparian Israel has every right to annex West Bank, Lebanon, & Syria because Jews lived there 3,000 yrs ago

The idea you can take land to rebuild a kingdom is just batshit—but that is the ideology of Zionism

According to the BBC, it is antisemitic of me to point this out
BBC's new guidelines treat anti-Zionism as antisemitism
The BBC has issued new training guidelines around antisemitism and they are every bit as woeful as you might suspect.

The Jewish weekly has played a role in whipping up fear & by falsely conflating antisemitism with anti-Zionism or criticism of Israel

This false conflation explains the dramatic increase in the term’s frequency, & why in the Chronicle, Corbyn appears to be far more threatening to Jews than Hitler
How the Jewish Chronicle Weaponizes 'Antisemitism' to Fuel a Moral Panic
On Yom Kippur, two British Jews were killed at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation synagogue in Manchester, during a cruel, antisemitic act of violence.

So, I wonder, what would average taxpayers do if they knew they’re currently paying income tax at triple the rate our richest megabillionaires are paying?

There's a fundamental failure of imagination among political leaders about the realities of governing in the 21st Century (this is true for the UK as well as the EU). Toxic information environments, malevolent state actors - these are the threats of today.
Pretty crazy that nearly all of the EU Commission is still on X even as Elon Musk is literally talking about destroying the EU.

You can leave X. It's really not that difficult.
So what's the outcome?

2️⃣5️⃣ of the 27 Commissioners have posted in the last week

2️⃣4️⃣ of the 27 generally post every week (Albuquerque has never been on X, Ribera is sporadic, McGrath has somehow stopped)
