Drama on Baseline! A black SUV with a company logo hit a black sedan, driving it off the road, then sped off (we could hear the tires squeal). Two fire trucks and two cop cars on site. Baseline eastbound might get a little clogged #otttraffic

In fact, all three of these men. The guy at far left has the most clean and clear overtone whistles in his throat singing that I think I've ever heard. Middle is a lovely slightly gritty tenor. At right, holy crap the yodel-y breaks and tremolos he can do.

Just got home from going to see Hanggai at the Bronson Centre and holy SHIT those guys put on a brilliant show. The crowd was 90% Chinese and going WILD. I accidentally wound up at the front (there was an incident with a conga line) for the last few songs and it was exhilarating. I LOVE live music.

10 years ago on November 4th, I was in a major car crash with four of my friends (two in the car with me, two more in another one). Now we get together around then every year for Not Dead Day. This year we hiked (in occasional freezing drizzle) up a local waterfall, and it was great.

Oh yeah. The parking lot I was told to move my car from on May 20 so they could resurface it, the one they didn't even begin work on for a month and a half? Yeah, this is the most movement I've seen there since about August. Now that it's snowing.

Out tonight with a friend to see Raphael Weinroth-Browne be a one-man, one-cello orchestra by means of loop tracks and percussion on the cello. This was an album launch concert and the crowd were very there for it, and for him.

Okay, holy CRAP that was amazing. She's a shapeshifter. The show was supposed to be 90 minutes. At 90 minutes we broke for intermission and I couldn't believe it had been that long. And I was down to stay another 90 if that was what she wanted to do.

Out climbing yesterday and heard a rock hit my new helmet. Didn't think much of it until we were packing up and I realized it was still with me 😂

Yeah, I'm heading to a cottage with a wood stove for our delayed Thanksgiving feast tomorrow but that doesn't mean I can't bring an apple cake flavoured with with tonka bean liqueur for dessert, and pack some extra whipping cream and tonka beans to top it, because we bougie as fuck at Lac Sam.
