Those who objected could be divided into two categories: people who found the simpler and more flexible game to be bland; and people who didn’t like the game getting “woke.” This is a slippery term, but it often boils down to things not being quite as racist or sexist as they used to be.

Decorations are harder, because we live basically off an alley and because I don’t personally care to live in a house of horrors. We are compromising by gradually building an army of whimsical skeletons.

Our community soccer association just emailed us about their automated lightning warning system, It sounds like something out of Star Trek and is called “Thorguard,” which is metal as hell

Same thing happened to me with Instagram because I never engaged with the reels. Ended up liking a few pieces of “millennials be like THIS and Gen Z be like THAT” content just to get the horror out of my eyeballs
