Well, here's the shore of Lake Michigan. I think it's pretty nice. 😄 Living on the East Coast now, I find most people who haven't seen the Great Lakes aren't aware of the scope of them.

We just got back from a wonderful trip to Michigan - lots of family, wonderful beaches, lovely weather. But the most important part is that James learned how to knit snakes. 🧶

Aww, what a sweetie! We also succumbed to a pandemic cat, a kitten who has terrorized our three older cats for four years now and has a near-supernatural ability to escape into the backyard. But he's also a complete love bug.

I've been wondering if Gotham City villains won't have to turn to a life of crime now that lab-grown gems are an option. Why steal a ridiculously large rare gem on display for one night at the local museum with highly elaborate yet very flawed security to power your eye-melting ray /1
