Writer, author, musician, artist, photographer, gardener, animal lover, and people observer. I live a very "liberal arts" sort of lifestyle. I have so many interests, spread over so many areas that condensing my life into a paragraph is next to impossible.
It has been an emotionally dark week here in the US. I take a sort of symbolic comfort from living on the coast of Maine. Take a boat out for the day, and stay on one of those tiny islands till sanity returns. Or until the island is inundated due to global warming, whichever comes first. #maine

Decided to clean out the spice cupboard. Vincent decided it is his now. Appropriate, seeing as that he's a ginger. (I'll see myself out) #cats

Me: well baby, I had to put Pigwidegeon in his carry cage.
Vincent: but I wantz to play with Pig.
Me: maybe if all 13lbs of you hadn't tried to jump on top of Pig's cage in the middle of the night...Now move, so I can put this lot back together. #cats

The fact that there are so many people that voted from a place of fear; fear of those who are different from them; fear of higher gas and grocery prices; fear of change, is deeply disturbing. I don't think I've been properly hungry since November 5th. #ramblings

Greetings from the coast of Maine. I'm just getting started here and am feeling my way around. I hope to fund fellow writers, readers, photographers, artists, musicians, and people who like to discuss quantum physics,who share pictures of cats, and who actually care about their fellow humans.
