Yeah, it's a pretty old phishing scam. The idea is to make you panic so they'll give you a link where you can "appeal to an admin" so you don't get banned, which will lead to a fake login page. You'd see that shit all the time on Steam over a decade ago.

A day off of work with car dealership sales, mostly. Outside of the culture war nonsense, people don't pay much mind to it.
