Doesn't bode well when the first bike ride of the year ends up with the bike on a recovery vehicle heading to the mechanic, after a 5 hr wait by the road side. Not my favourite day. I only managed to ride 8 miles

I'm sitting in the recording booth about to start the next chapter in my current project. Book 3 of The Word trilogy by Anthony D Brown. If you like SciFi/Fantasy look for it online in a few weeks time. (P.s. Book 1 (There Be Dragons) and Book 2 (Love and War) are already out on Audible and iTunes).

Dementia is an evil disease!!! Not just for those with the disease but for all their loved ones too, as they are also affected by it. My heartfelt thoughts and sympathies go out to all who are blighted by dementia.

I've thought long and hard about key books in my life. It seems fitting to me that my 20th post in this series should reflect the beginning of my journey as a reader/booklover. But how to choose. It could be Noggin the Nog, Meg and Mog, Tin Tin or Asterix. Or... I guess we'll see.
