I used to think so too but discovered that I was mixing her up with Dian Fossey, who was murdered in the 80s.

I don't know why it matters where people are from. They need services where they are, and there's sometimes nowhere to go "back" to.

I've noticed an upward swing in Spokane, Washington, in the last decade. I think it's having a nice little revival.

My unpopular opinion is that I think we need age based retesting, both written and practical, over age 60. And more stringent testing if you're transferring your license from another state. Laws are different in different states. Oregon and Washington have almost polar opposite u-turn laws.
