A couple character sketches from a story I'm working on
His Spider-Man 2099 run was the first comic book series I read. Mostly because that was one of my only options in the dollar bins of my local grocery store. It introduced an 8 year old me to cyber punk, the evils of capitalism and fictional slang. A shocking great writer all around.
Official confirmation from his family that Peter David has passed away after a long illness. Tremendous writer, incredible talent. Sending my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
