Retired. Too much time to watch and think. Helping with non-profit that provides furniture and household goods to homeless when they are first housed.
With another uptick in ICE violence across the country, I noticed that I’ve seen nothing of Tom Homan. I suspect that he’s busy spending $50,000 in bag money on Christmas gifts.

Remember when we set an example world wide as the country that lived by the rule of law? (certainly somewhat overblown but nevertheless) We are now on par with Don’s puppeteer and I am so disgusted with our govt. We are blatantly murdering people because the President and his sycophants want to.

We do need to be very mindful of not violating rights, but we also need to be able to legally punish big time criminals. The ability due to financing to delay, obscure and eventually negate punishment is wrong. I don’t know the answer but perhaps finer minds can come up with one.

I am so tired of people not being held accountable for breaking the law due to their buddies being in positions to aid them and the time necessary to properly prosecute them. Our legal system is seemingly flawed and will need some sort of revamping in the near future. Justice delayed is denied.

Mike Johnson has officially earned the title of stupidest Speaker of the House in US history by not being aware of any of the news that all the rest of us know so much about.

In Evanston a car accident. Should be that police are called, ticket issued, info exchanged, vehicles towed if necessary, even if ICE is one of the vehicles. Police need to be ready and able to respond and stop the ICE assaults on our citizens. Beating and hauling citizens away is unconstitutional.

With the Republicans working so hard to steal the 2026 election, would there be some advantage to all voters registering as Republicans so it would be more difficult to know who to actually stop from voting?

If there is a 2019 law stating that furloughed employees must be paid, why am I having to listen to Donnie talk about not paying them.

So the newest way to save part of the economy is to promise farmers part of the tariff ‘profits’ to offset their losses. Sounds like offering a hand up after knocking someone to the ground. Better to never knock them down. Also, let’s not forget that destruction is a large part of the plan.

Such an embarrassment. Chillingly evil and arrogant embarrassment.
September 23, 2025 at 11:24 PM
We must remember that we the people established the government and gave to it its rights and duties, in fact its existence is because we allow it. Not the other way around. It has no right to behaviors that we don’t agree to. Individuals first > government second, and only because we authorize it.

So given the new Supreme Court decision, the police can detain any white, English speaking male between the ages of 15 to 30 near a school, church or mall because they are likely to be mass shooter. This is not racial profiling, just simple logic.

I guess flags at half mast = thoughts. State and Federal Congresses taking a moment = prayers so we can all move on from the horrific killing and maiming of Minnesota children knowing that we have done our best…… Right!

Could we shorten two wars and their horrendous death tolls by taking all of the money and weapons we send to Israel and giving it to Ukraine. It would also seem to put us on the proper side in both of them.
August 29, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Can a governor call up their state’s National Guard to protect their state in advance of the Federal government? Would this at least mess up everything? Perhaps to defend it from federal intrusion. Sorry, you can’t borrow them, they’re busy. I’ve no idea, no legal training. Just a thought.

I am so tired of this half wit representing our country to world. Putin may have the goods on him but he’s got nothing on the rest of us (well most of the rest of us). Time to remind our allies what we still stand for as a nation, not what our idiotic, criminal president stands for.
August 17, 2025 at 4:51 AM
Don is evidently not the great negotiator that he thinks. Still just the ill prepared idiot we are continually seeing, whatever the topic.
August 16, 2025 at 12:36 AM
Why is Putin not being arrested upon arrival on U.S. soil? Am I missing something?
August 15, 2025 at 5:48 PM
The DA for Philadelphia on Kaitlin Collin’s’ CNN show last night was incredible. He spoke directly to the problem we face, and that problem is Donnie and his fascist cohorts trying to exert complete, authoritarian control of our country. Fight back now before it is too late.
August 13, 2025 at 7:03 PM
So Don thinks that he and Vlad can negotiate the end to the war Vlad began without Zelensky. What a putz. What a diversion from the rest of the evil and unconstitutional things he and his sycophants are doing.
August 12, 2025 at 4:14 PM
The authoritarian is upping his game of nation destruction in all ways and directions. We’ve got to do all we can to stand together in every fashion we can come up with to counter his lies and unlawful activities. He keeps upping his game. This is not a time to relax. We must fight for our freedom.
August 11, 2025 at 12:16 AM
So evidently Pete Hegseth is a fundamental Christian nationalist who doesn’t believe in equal rights for women. This surprises who? A f’ing idiot thinking and acting like an f’ing idiot. Has Don taught us nothing? They all follow in his footsteps.
August 9, 2025 at 9:03 PM
Just drove the length of the Salinas valley. Lots going on in the fields, planting, harvesting, turning etc., but no ICE. Do you think it could be because it’s both less newsworthy as well as perhaps actually dangerous for them? That is a whole lot of Latinos there.
August 9, 2025 at 1:21 AM
We must not forget that before the 2024 election a bipartisan bill would have helped remove immigration as an issue, but Don wanted, and as we know what he wants he gets w/ the GOP. Now we see the issue was Gestapo tactics to help force a call for the Insurrection Act’s usage. Project 2025 playbook.

Between the Supreme Court, both houses of Congress and all the sycophantic heads of Departments all I see and hear is the erosion of our rights as defined in the Constitution and the lining up, clicking of heels and saluting of the President, Elon style. So sad, such anger and cruelty
