It's time to talk about income inequality in Canada. We can't build a truly democratic nation when so many people are relying on food banks and can't afford where they live.
Inequality is a breeding ground for extremist ideologies.

SCOTUS is as cruel as Trump and just as corrupt.
BREAKING: SCOTUS issues emergency order temporarily blocking full SNAP food aid payments.

Trump is the most cruel & barbaric man imaginable. He is claiming the government will be permanently harmed by ensuing hungry Americans are fed.

This will kill low income people. This is structural eugenics.

Maybe nobody in the great big world cares about this.
But the public libraries in tiny Jefferson County in Northern Appalachia were in danger of losing their tax funding thanks to right-wing book banners. And we won. The library's funding is safe!!!!!

These centers, many owned by Big Tech giants, are driving up electric bills and sucking up huge amounts of water.

It’s a sad (and chilling) day when legacy media cannot be trusted to follow even the most basic tenets of journalism.

But when one of the world’s most influential and ubiquitous news sources uses a photo from the 1992 LA uprisings to characterize events in 2025 Portland, we’re at that point

Pam Bondi admits she spoke to Apple to "get the ICEBlock app taken down." Sounds an awful lot like coercion to suppress disfavored speech to me. A clear violation of the 1st Amendment.
Bondi claims that the ICEBlock app was "criminal in that people were posting where ICE officers lived"

Nobody cares about the victims in the Dallas ICE shooting apparently. The first I've heard about one of them was on CNN today. He's fighting for his life in the hospital --- he was brought to the US when he was 13. He's 33 now. No criminal record.

I just don't know what to say anymore.

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.
