If a streaming service plays an ad before starting the credits of the last episode I watched instead of the next episode in the series I shouldn’t have to watch another ad when I tell it to start the next episode like it should done to begin with.

Men are not constantly being told “you’re bad,” they are constantly being told “LEFT WING SJWS THINK YOU’RE BAD” by conservative propaganda. There’s a huge difference.
I have two sons, and I don't think I've ever seen messaging going "Don't be a boy" or "YOU'RE BAD."
Sure looks like that's in "I heard someone say that they heard..." territory, rather than actual direct experience.
Also worth noting, the main message from manosphere influencers is "YOU'RE BAD."

It's a brutal time for young men, and to be raising one. The primary message they now is get is "YOU'RE BAD" without any meaningful attempt to offer healthy pathways beyond "Don't be a boy."
