Truly amazing how much of a stranglehold dinosaurs have on my imagination, even well into adulthood.
Evidence is a new Jurassic Park movie. Despite the series being unable to scrape together a good sequel, my response to the trailer isn’t indifference, but “Omg T-rex can go swims now aaaaaahhhhh!”

I’m rewatching the Lord of the Rings movies, and last night I watched one of my favorite filmmaking moments in the series.
It is a not-terribly flashy moment. It’s the moment where Aragorn rushes in to alert Theoden that the beacons of Minas Tirith are lit and require Rohan’s his aid in war.
