Please consider getting a PBS Passport in order to help out your local station if you are able. We have it - we love several of their shows.

"PBS Passport gives eligible donors and supporters extended access to an on-demand library of quality public television programming online."

New #fosterdog. Her name is Lena and she's an absolute sweetheart.

Whoever is taking care of the empty house next door mowed my side of the yard and completely mowed over my peony bush. I'm now a crazy person who leaves angry voicemails about peony bushes. I wasn't expecting these turn of events and yet here I am.

I've been finally making my way through "The Handmaid's Tale". I'm up to mid season 5, and all I've been obsessively wondering is "who mows the lawns in Gilead?" Is it the Marthas? I imagine it would have to be a manual push mower, cause they do the whole green thing.

I forgot to share, this goober returned home, on his birthday no less (April 1). He lost 3lbs and his liver levels were elevated but he is good otherwise.

My cat Pemba has been missing for 2 days. I am just wrecked. I miss my little buddy. He's almost 11 and has never been outside for more than a few minutes before so I'm worried. Please send good vibes.

Anyone else tell their dog that they're naked after removing the dog's collar or is that just some weird shit I do? Ps, my dog is naked now.

I made the mistake of telling my dog that we'd go for walkies tomorrow morning as if he'd understand anything in that sentence other than "walkies". He's now being dramatic about the lack of a walk tonight.

In the continuing saga between me and pants, today I just have too much pants on. I keep tripping over them.

Want to prevent some straight up Handmaid's Tale level shit? Call your house representative (today is the last day) and tell them to vote NO on the SAVE act.

In other news, I am going to adopt my foster. He's so sassy. His attributes listed him as "mouthy" and sometimes he has stuff to say. But he is really an awesome dog. The kid named him "Cooper" after his bff.

Nazis and nazi apologists deserve neither your kindness nor your empathy. Act accordingly.

I've never seen Pemba this angry before. He's handling the whole "new foster dog in the house" very well.

I had a dream last night that I was listening to a band play and didn't care for them and to insult them I yelled "I bet you sounded great at your senior prom...in 1996!" I guess I thought that was a sick burn.

In other news I'm getting my first foster dog in 6 years. I missed fostering. It was just impossible these past 6 years. I did briefly foster a rabbit in 2020 but it turns out I'm highly allergic to rabbits so he went to a new home.

So I walk outside this morning and think "I didn't park my car that far down my driveway ". I looked at my ring footage and throughout the night it slowly slid down the driveway. I moved it back up and put the emergency brake on. I am usually good about that when half my driveway is still ice/snow.

Took the kid sledding for the first time. We never had significant snow until this year to try it before. I even went down once and didn't break my ass. Win!!
