Don’t be silly, he’s attending a diplomatic event. I think most Australians understand why a leader attends events like this.

I think one of the main reasons is he’s attending the inauguration of a leader of an independent nation where many if not most other leaders of nations are also attending. If Dutton had won a fortnight ago he would be there as well.

Most of the world’s leaders attend events such as this and many diplomatic meetings happen. This is important for our leader to attend. If he didn’t, the conservative media would say it’s a snub.

I suffer from a condition where I metabolised electrolytes faster than the average population. I’ve had to supplement my sodium & potassium intake for over 35 years. This leads to chronic low blood pressure. The medical advice is “chose salty food & add salt”. I also drink lots of sports drinks.

I grew up in a violent household. I remember being fearful my father would kill my mother from about age five onwards until I finally left home at seventeen. It was a brutal way to grow up. I still suffer from anxiety to this day, now aged 70.
