I think as you listen you’ll start to realize that the label doesn’t do a whole lot to explain what it is since it’s niche anyway. But if you hear something with dark undertones, made with a synth
, and has some deep/heavy drones then it might be dungeon synth.

Honestly I didn’t think I was either but after getting some more concrete examples it turns out it was already listening to some stuff that was influenced by it.
