Hey all, I just wanted to say that the best way to stay in touch with me is on Discord or Facebook Messenger.

If you'd like my username for either, drop me a reply or a DM 💜

Hi everyone,

I posted an update on my blog about #repDISND, the disabled and neurodivergent representation event that I've run for the past few years.

Due to RL and health issues, I am taking a quieter approach to the event this year; posting content on my blog, but less outreach.

Currently in London looking after my mum while dad is in Japan and hayfever down here is kicking my ass. Also, of course the weather decided to suddenly get super warm 🥵

Just a tip to authors: contacting reviewers to demand to know when they're reopening review slots (especially if you missed them opening multiple times!) will just get you on the 'go to hell' list.

I'm so behind on reviews and the 2025 disabled/neurodivergent books list. I have a nasty sinus infection and of course, my GP surgery has suddenly stopped doing telephone appointments. I tried to get to a morning appointment and failed, and my hEDS has flared resulting in an injured arm.

It's Valentine's Day, so have some cards from the Cruel Gods world where, according to a certain domain, it's a sin not to sin!

Being in hospital for almost two weeks, and needing a third week to recover (I was starved and had to build back up).

The only time I got detention was for getting a low mark in German because the teacher couldn't control the class.

I'm considering making an anonymous account (it seems I can't make a private account here) to keep in touch with people in a manageable way (I miss you all!) - if we've chatted elsewhere say hi!

I've created a starter pack of #neurodivergent, #disability & #MentalHealth writers & authors. (The latter two didn't fit in the title)

There are loads I should add, so let me know who should be included below.

Please support underrepresented writers!

A new year means a new list of disabled and neurodivergent books/comics releases!

I am looking for books/comics that come out in 2025 that:

- are by disabled and/or neurodivergent authors

OR

- have disabled and/or neurodivergent representation.

See below for details ⬇️

#DisabledCreators of all stripes!

Let’s work together in creating, marketing, selling, etc — @barrowmember.bsky.social and I are gauging interest in a #CripCoop — starting with collecting a list of wants and needs, which then would match with another coop members skills/abilities.

Interested?

Yey finally got an appointment with orthopaedics... it's with a physio.

I've not had the greatest experience with NHS physios...

Chris: What's it for?

Me: I don't know.

Chris: What body part?

Me: It just says orthopaedics! 🙃 (I was referred for hips & shoulders!).
