We applaud the courage of the survivors who are speaking out about the horrifying torture and abuse they endured at CECOT. We must fight to end the administration's dangerous ramp up of immigration detention and deportation that puts people at risk for sexual abuse.

Love this! Thank you for writing cards for incarcerated people!
Was feeling down until the middle schooler in the family asked if she could take over writing holiday cards for @justdetention.bsky.social - has been sitting here for an hour (writing on top of @eveewing.bsky.social ’s excellent book!) The young people are ok.

It takes great deal of courage to talk about being sexually abused in detention. Especially when so many people, including those in positions of power, are trying to discredit you. We believe you, Andry. And we will support and fight alongside you and other survivors of abuse in CECOT.
"News is reporting you were sexually assaulted in CECOT. Some of our president's supporters are saying that is a lie. Just wondering if you want to tell us what the truth is."
