I read that religion was borne out of trying to explain the unexplainable (like a list for sacrifice). Feels like we’ve regressed to this point, it’s being used to say ‘look, I’m not a complete douche, I wear a cross’!

Thanks. Just did a sick in my mouth.

It’s almost like I don’t care about the economics, I can’t get my head around a species that goes ‘right, our home is on fire and if we don’t sort it out, we, and all our children, our grandchildren and the future of humanity is doomed’, and the response is ‘ooh, seems a bit pricey’ 😡
December 1, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Also, ‘if you were Keynes…’, well he’s not, and what Zack is saying is that the economy is what is directing our efforts in completely the wrong directions. Do we want Keynesian economics or a planet to live on???

Rory, so frustrating. I know people need to be challenged, but for someone so worried about climate change, why do you keep questioning what solving it ‘would cost’? How does that question balance against the cost of not doing it, i.e. the end of humanity. Money is a construct, it’s not real!

When did the term ‘supporter’ lose all meaning? Even on bluesy every other comment is how ‘criminal’ our display was, it feels like some fans are first and foremost critics and supporters second. We are top of every league we are in FFS!!!

Yeah we found that out tonight!
November 30, 2025 at 10:24 PM
Now we’re getting somewhere! I 100% identify man, that’s Arsenal fandom dna. We are hardwired to worry, and trust me I do all the time - but I have an inkling today was ok. Not ideal, but ok. Mate you support the Arsenal, win or lose it’s something to be proud of. Please don’t stress though. COYG!

The flipping between PL and UCL standards of refereeing must be mentally exhausting too.
November 30, 2025 at 10:05 PM
It is my view but honestly, I just want you to not stress too much about supporting a team that is top of every league we are in. Come on bro, you can crack a smile for me can’t ya? Just a little one? 😀
November 30, 2025 at 10:04 PM
Yeah, and I’m pretty sure it doesn’t apply when you’re five points clear at the top of the prem and at the top of the UCL table you donut
November 30, 2025 at 9:58 PM
Finally some nuance to the debate, thank you!
November 30, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Logic has nothing to do with emotion, which is what’s driving your hyperbole and overreaction. ‘Conceding the first goal to a ten man side is’, and I quote, ‘fucking criminal’. It’s not even a misdemeanour. It’s just sport. I appreciate your passion but sorry, I’m done with the negativity.
November 30, 2025 at 9:55 PM
Logic would say yes you always win ten v eleven but that’s really not the case is it. We’ve had a hell of a run recently and still waiting for key players to come back, we are 5 points clear, and didn’t lose. I choose to see the positives and not get lost in negativity.
November 30, 2025 at 9:48 PM
Think about that just for a second. Arsenal were ‘dreadful’ (I don’t think we were, but then I’m trying to tone down the hyperbole). And we still got a point (from behind btw), away to our closest title rivals. If you can’t see the logic in that pointing towards positivity, best of luck

All I see (if we are interpreting stats) is the one at the top of the page.
November 28, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Now now, come on, he is right, when Arsenal play a long ball, our players are so technically inferior that it’s just a hit and hope. When Bayern do it though it’s done with vision and ability. Come on you know this, as well as you know how lucky we were to absolutely boss them 😂
November 28, 2025 at 3:07 PM
Bruv if you can’t understand my previous comment, apologies but there aren’t enough characters here to explain. Have a good day.
November 27, 2025 at 11:29 PM
He’ll be saying we run too much next 😂
November 27, 2025 at 6:20 PM
It’s not fair, we usually have it all our own way, we are t prepared for this, it’s so not fair! *stamps feet and walks away
November 27, 2025 at 6:18 PM
Mate ignore it, it’s boring, lazy narrative driven nonsense. He may as well be saying ‘it’s not fair, they’re better than us’. Spoilt brat for even thinking his opinion means anything.
November 27, 2025 at 6:16 PM
Correlation does not equal causation, unless the person says it out loud then you can’t possible know of any direct relationship, and I suspect this situation is way more nuanced than you are making out. But you know that already, don’t you.
November 27, 2025 at 1:41 PM
I quite often come back to a Ricky Gervais quote when it comes to issues in Society. ‘No, don’t ask the man on the street! Have you met the man on the street?!!!’ 😂 in all seriousness though, we in the Western world have learned to use an ‘if, then’ approach, which banishes nuance.
November 27, 2025 at 12:42 PM
Also, I use the word ‘supported’ judiciously, there appear to be people that align with a club though but rather than support the team, they take credit for wins and spread negativity when there’s a bad result. Those aren’t supporters, I don’t know what they are.
