As a nerdy kid with a huge record collection, I admired Cameron Crowe. He was a teen-ager living my dream: rock’n’roll music critic. He married a rockstar, wrote for Creem and Rolling Stone, ended up making movies. Still envious. Tonight, thanks to my sister Theresa, we’re seeing him speak.
