I went to the pharmacy, the facilities, bought a sandwich and got in a train, all staffed by people who arrived in this country to work.
It’s not glamorous or lucrative, but without them we would be on our knees.

One of many Cambridge street watercolours I did 30-40 years ago. Working on the spot uniquely preserves memories and feelings. The shop signs at that time in Green St were extravagantly beautiful and the passers by were sketched in quickly. Still have this one.
