I actually really liked this one. It had some great moments. And it overall had kind of a Clive Barker-y vibe, I think

I liked Queer
It got weird after a while (it’s in the name. Lol), but I think it stayed grounded enough to not get lost in the dreamy imagery
It had a nice soundtrack too. Didn’t expect Nirvana in a movie set in the 1950’s, but it worked. Lol
It also had some strong Querelle (1982) vibes at times

I liked Queer

Liked this one better on my 2nd viewing, after realizing it’s more slasher romcom than romcom slasher. The lead characters are enjoyable, and the slasher elements are pretty good once they get going. I think I like this one better than the other recent horror mashups (e.g. Happy Death Day, Freaky)
